TexasChainsawMassacre Ultimate Edition DVD?

So I went to purchase the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre dvd and found there to be 2. There was the original, and the "Special Edition". After reading the back of both boxes I discovered that the only differences between the original TCM dvd and the SE dvd were the box the dvds came in and the amount of money I would have to give to own one of them. They both had the same exact aspect ratios, sound options and extras.

I looked around the internet a bit and discovered that the French dvd has a couple of documentaries not found on the American discs. It also has a 4.0 sound track whereas the American discs have only a mono track and a 2.0 stereo track. Furthermore, the German release of the dvd is anamorphic, while the American discs are not. Lastly there are two interviews on the UK disc which are not on either of the American discs.

SO! That's quite a bit of interesting stuff that we yanks are missing out on. Has anyone heard of an upcoming Ultimate Edition release of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Or can anyone tell me who I might contact to find out if such a disc is ever going to be produced?
